I'm beginning to notice, a lot of these bands comprised of only two artists really know how to get the job done, and how. You've got The White Stripes, The Black Keys (one of my favorite bands), The Chemical Brothers, _______________<----- (Enter another amazing duo here), and so many more. . . And among those "so many more" is this duo called Phantogram, made up of keyboardist Sarah Barthel and guitarist Josh Carter. The first place I had heard Phantogram was a while ago in my car (my favorite place to listen to music), on 89.9 fm KCRW (yes, I know this blog is called "The Anti Radio", but I don't completely disdain the things they play on the radio, just most of it), thus the mind blowing had begun. The first song I ever heard by them was "As Far As I Can See", which has SUCH an awesome beat, rhythm, and melody. As I delved deeper into the world of Phantogram, I found a deep, grimy (not borderlining dubstep, but grimy) high octave bass that took my ears, stomped on them, handed them back to me, and had me begging for more. So, on that note, I present to you "As Far As I Can See" and "Running From The Cops":

This is actually a band that I can honestly say that I love most all of their music, so check the rest out if you get a chance, and also, check out their live performances:
